Distillery Tours
Tours of the distillery are by reservation only. Attendees will enjoy an immersive experience into the world of making whiskey (and other spirits) and include an education on bourbon (America’s only native spirit) and our distilling facility. Tours last approximately 1 hr. and include a guided tasting of (4) four our spirits for $25 per person with a minimum of 5 guests.

Hartman’s Distilling Company lives in a building that once housed The Cooperage, a landmark of Buffalo industrial history. The Cooperage was part of E.B. Homes Machining Co., a 19th and 20th century manufacturing plant of national prominence that built the machinery that constructed wooden barrels. Barrels are still an extremely important part of the distillery industry, with 60 to 70 percent of an aged spirit’s flavor derived from the wooden barrel it’s aged in.
In a way, then, our distillery is your distillery. It is part of our collective history and the history of the industry we love. To that end, we designed it to be an immersive learning experience, so our customers know how our products are made, with what ingredients, and why they taste so good.

Looking for a hands-on, unforgettable experience for your next offsite event?
Our Barrel Pick experience is ideal for pre-wedding festivities, bachelor/bachelorette parties, birthdays, or team-building events that want something beyond the ordinary.
Sip, sample, and blend your way through barrel tastings, enjoy a cocktail during your visit, and create a custom bottle you’ll take home with you.
Bookings must be made at least 60 days in advance and are subject to availability.
$100 per person | 5-person minimum.
